The machinery tells you how a place works. The people tell you why it matters.

I was given access to working industrial and production environments to document the people, processes, machinery and places behind the finished product, working from inside the operation rather than simply photographing what is visible from the outside.

Working in active workplaces requires an ability to observe, adapt and build trust, while understanding how people and processes interact without disrupting the work. That access allows me to photograph the concentration of a worker, the rhythm of production, the relationship between people and machines, and the details that reveal how a business actually operates.

My documentary-led approach combines environmental portraiture, people-at-work photography, detail and process photography, creating imagery that is authentic to the organisation while retaining the visual control required for commercial use.

The result is a visual record of how things are made, who makes them and what happens behind the finished product, providing businesses, organisations and agencies with photography that can be used across communications, websites, campaigns, editorial and social media.
