Documentary-led photography built around people, place and purpose.

I create documentary-led photography for assignments that involve people, places, work, culture and real-world experiences, from destinations and heritage to agriculture, food, industry, conservation and events.

I've been living and working in Spain for more than 40 years. I speak fluent English and Spanish and bring a deep understanding of how places, communities and organisations work on the ground. My local knowledge and relationships often allow me to gain access beyond the obvious, working within communities, workplaces and situations that are not simply visible to an outside photographer.

That access changes what I can photograph. I look for the people, processes, traditions and moments inside a place, not simply what is visible from the outside, creating images that reveal what gives a place, organisation or story its character.

Working across Spain and Portugal, I am available to travel for assignments and can work directly with clients, as part of an agency or production team, or as a white-label production resource.

Photography is the foundation of my work. When a story benefits from movement, I can also provide complementary video and short-form motion content on location.
