Some journeys are remembered for the places visited. Others stay with us because of the people we meet, the stories we hear and the moments we share.

Private Journey Story (PJS) is a tailor-made documentary photography experience for individuals, couples and small private groups exploring Extremadura. Robert Ransley accompanies travellers during an agreed four- or eight-hour period, documenting their journey while providing cultural context and facilitating encounters with local people and places where appropriate.

Not simply photographs of where you went, but a visual story of what you experienced.

THE EXPERIENCE

Each PJS is shaped around the travellers' interests. The itinerary may combine several stops or encounters, or focus on one subject in greater depth. The aim is to create a meaningful photographic record while helping travellers understand something of the region and the people who sustain its culture.
